A man of few words, Tarand is one of the last surviving clone troopers. A careful eye will note that he should be a lot older than he is, as most of the troopers from the Clone Wars have long since succumbed to old age. The crew hasn’t yet seen Tarand in battle, but those that fought in the Clone Wars are well aware of what troopers were capable of.

When Knup and Wojo first met him, he was ostensibly working as a security officer at the Gaital Family Piket Ranch. When the Imperials descended on the Ranch searching for news of the break-in at the Sector Office, Tarand tried his best to defend the ranch, but it was razed despite his efforts. After that, the crew met up again with him with Talina, and it was revealed that he was an agent of the newly-formed Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Tarand is gruff, no-nonsense, and slightly difficult to get along with. He and Knup got off to a rocky start, but Ghall and he seem to see eye-to-eye. His relationship with Talina has been the subject of some speculation recently, especially after the two of them seem to no longer be seen without the other nearby.
